Re: SPID Picture thread?
Bought these today while picking up some parts (trucks were already gone). Just thought the yellow low option truck with D89 "paint stripe" was cool so out came the wallet. And 4 hours of pulling other parts and I was gone!

Re: SPID Picture thread?
The descriptions vary greatly for options and can be quirky. The YE9 Cheyenne Super option was described with many variations by production plant. St. Louis has many examples of "Cheyenne Super Spor" Someone "back in the day" must have assumed "Super" was a Super Sport.

Re: SPID Picture thread?
Don't see a lot of the "other" two-tone(white-MO-white) around here, other than that, pretty typical stuff.

Re: SPID Picture thread?
I vote we post a pic of the truck that goes with the SPID. I'd love to see a pic of the previous post's truck.

Re: SPID Picture thread?
Spid pic of a 72 C10 or whatever GMC calls them. I dont recall ever looking at a spid that looks like this. I posted in a sep thread trying to see if I can see what seat cover this would have had with the info on this spid ... lots of views but no feedback.
Figured Id post it here just because its an interesting one to me and maybe it would be to others.

Re: SPID Picture thread?
a bit of an oddball - Cheyenne Super SWB but no Amp/Oil/Temp gauge package....and NO Tinted Glass! I don't think I have ever seen a Super without tinted glass, perhaps the same with the gauges.
This truck has ran across Mecum at least twice in the past year and neither time did it meet the reserve. Memory serves me it climbed to $50k the first time and about $45k the second.

Re: SPID Picture thread?
Cheyenne Super is a trim package so must other options had to be ordered. Here s another low option Cheyenne Super Spid and no A/C in this truck.

Re: SPID Picture thread?
low options is an understatement! no tinted glass, no brake booster and no gauge package. those were regularly no brainers when ordered by the dealership. yuck.
