Re: Boss 338 Wheels **GROUP BUY**

just an update for the rest of you-

I talked with Eagle Alloys and it looks like all wheels have been shipped except the chrome 20's. From my understanding, they still are not in the warehouse yet but they should be arriving shortly.

Thanks for the update. Don't like it, but good to know anyway.

Depending on backspacing I'm sure it can be done. While not this particular style of wheel, but my 69 was wearing 20x9 on all 4 corners when I bought it. Now sporting a set of 15x8 vette style ralleys on all 4 corners.

I have an '82, anyone running 18x9.5s all the way around. I'm worried about rubbing the fender on bumps or sharp turns. Thanks for the help.

Re: Boss 338 Wheels **GROUP BUY**

Colin/Sublvr72 - Please check you PM's and get back to me. It's been almost a month since my credit card was charged and in talking to Marcus at AEW he still has not recieved the order for my 313's. I realize you are busy with other things but my window of patience is growing thin and the only thing keeping my truck from rolling out of my driveway right now is wheels/tires after a 1.5 year long build...

Sorry to all for sidetracking this thread and making it my own personal battleground but I am getting a bit frustrated as of late and want to drive my truck..thanks for understanding.

They have your order and they should have shipped, I'm just waiting on getting confirmation that they went out.

Just fyi, HID Solutions is a part time gig for me so, unfortunately from time to time it ends up on the back burner while I have to go out of town. It has nothing to do with having little respect for customers, it's something I operate in my free time, which recently I haven't had a whole lot of. In the PM reply back to you I explained that I've already paid $300 in postage to get your wheels to you and it keeps coming back to me. You've explained that fedex won't ship to your area so as long as I can get the $300 in postage back from fedex I have no problem refunding your order.
You should be able to get the money back for shipping, it never reached its destination or even left your local warehouse. From the one tracking number I got the rims only made it to the sort yard. If you could please find out if you can get my money refunded before leaving for another couple weeks I would be extremely happy. Thank you for replying to my pm.

Re: Boss 338 Wheels **GROUP BUY**

Anyone running front tires larger than 245/45/20's?

My truck will be lowered but not slammed.

I'm thinking about a 275/55/20 for the front and 305/50/20's for the rear.

Both are 32" tall.

Well, just got off the phone with Marcus at AEW. Located a pair of 20x8.5 chrome in California and they'll be headed my direction on Monday. Should have 'em by the end of next week.

Tried to get ahold of him today, looks like he took the day off. Will try again tomorrow to find out what's up with the chrome fronts

Re: Boss 338 Wheels **GROUP BUY**

Well, f***. Just called Marcus at AEW and the rims (20x8.5 chrome) he had lined up turned out to be the old -2 revision, so no joy for me this week. Worse, they won't even give him an ETA on the -3 until Monday.

What has two thumbs and can't believe this bull****? This guy.

The -3's need the same modifications that the -2's need to fit them. Might as well just snag them.

Different center caps. I'm not waiting this long and paying this much to have wheels that don't match.

There are some that I posted when I got the rear wheels a couple months ago. Don't have time to look them up right now but if you look back through this thread you'll find them.

What a shame. I love my wheels but would never order another pair just based off this situation. They have a good thing and are just totally screwing themselves.
