Well guys....being as how I never seem to take advice....Sorry...lol I just Couldn't resist painting this bracket. lol I sat and just stared at it and then I was like...Ok...I'm gonna do it, and well....I like this much better. All thoughts were taken into consideration for sure though! I just Love doing detailing though. lol Here's some pictures.

I feel like this is a stupid question, but what are the machined plates (w/ bowtie) on the side of the motor for? Are they for aesthetics only or are they actually covers?
