Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Part II
Nice man. My current daily is a 03 hummer and im so over it! Tires are expensive, gas is outrageous, im 6'1" and still gotta use a damn stepstool to do anything to the motor. Its a beast fpr towing and off road but that just doesnt make up for the other stuff lol

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Part II
Have had my 93' for about 2 months. So far in the past 2 weeks I did a 5/8 spindle and spring drop and welded in the roll pan. Tommorrow my new smoothie front bumper, lower fillers and bumper brackets should be here to swap over my 94-98 grill. Now shopping for some new wheels. Body is all original with no rust or rot. Not bad for a truck from the east coast with 174k miles. Newer jasper crate motor and tranny have been installed.

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Part II
Well I needed something for winter, I was afraid the 85 wasn't going to do well in the snow with a 4/6 drop. So I was able to add this one to the herd. Its got a few miles on the odometer, but man the body is really sound. At this point I really think the paint is original, except maybe the right fender at some point. Seems as though this is the year for Bucket list filling. Lots of first for me. Lowered truck, Big Block, Headers, and now a 4x4, with lift. Although its just a 2 inch body lift kit. First picture is before I put the new tires on. Second is after tires, rear wheel bearings, and brakes.

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Part II
My new truck.7.4l, 5spd manual. 11' service bed. It's a 2000, but its the old body style so I thought I might fit in better here. The grandkids approve

Looks like a work horse. Looks like the seat has held up well too. Looks like the 1 tons must be pass airbag delete.

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Part II
This part of the forum is not very busy, so I figured I would editorialize on the above comment even though it's from like ten years ago. Even if it's just silly. I started reading from the front of the thread. Per the above in bold, some people would say that my 93 has one of those in it every time I get in...
