The UPS guy brought me 14 boxes when I got all the stuff from Porterbuilt. He was not happy...but he was a little bit excited since he's into cars,

My UPS guy went to HS with my wife and our kids go to school together. When he sees her he asks, "Is your husband done with that truck yet? Everything he gets is heavy!"

Re: Project "What was I Thinking" 68 SWB
Regardless it looks cool and if it takes longer it'll just be that much more what you're really wanting, I'm 3years and a bit in now and my original plan was under a year splash and dash hahaha

Re: Project "What was I Thinking" 68 SWB
A very nice member of this forum sent me over a rendering he did of my truck for inspiration. I'm not going to mention his name (he knows he is lol) as I don't want everybody to bombard him with pm's. It was a very nice gesture and nice people like him is why I love this forum and spend a lot of my day on it. This rendering is a lot nicer than the one I posted up a couple days ago and is pretty close to the final outcome of my truck except for the wheels, even though looking at these makes me wish I didn't sell the Vintecs And after seeing the truck with side trim I am sold on keeping the trim on it. Guess I'll be hitting up mar-k for some new side trim. Anyways here is the rendering let me know what you guys think.

Seeing N2Billet's builds, he will probably be done with Scarlet before I'm done with mine

Re: Project "What was I Thinking" 68 SWB
Thanks buddy
well part of my problem is that my truck is located at my brothers garage which is a 60 mile round trip from my house. He has the space, tools & welder that I don't have to complete this build. I really only have the weekend to work on it, but I will carve out sometime on Monday for it if I don't get the rear done this weekend.

Re: Project "What was I Thinking" 68 SWB
are you doing the pb bolt on body drop(hard to keep up)? looks awesome with the rocker on the ground. i agree, run the trim. i wish i did(dont really want to drill holes in the new paint).
