Re: How about some pics of your 4x4
Here is my 72 K-5 Blazer before I started restoring it!
And here are some pics of it after I have been restoring it! I just finished puting a 6" Skyjacker all suspension lift but it still has only 33" tires. I'm waiting to put 37"-38"tires on after I put Dana 60's in the front and back with a front crossover steering assembly! More pics to follow! |

Re: Nice lookin 71 jimmy!
I also have a 71 jimmy that I have not even started on! I like the dual headlights on the front end of the Jimmy's! On my 72 blazer I still have to stip and paint it. Right now it has a cheap paint job just to keep the rust away. I have had the 72 since I was 16 it is my first car I bought it in 89. I want to paint it either orange with a white top, orange with a black top, yellow with a black top or white with a black top. Please give me feed back and let me know your ideas! Vote for what colors I should paint it!

Re: How about some pics of your 4x4
I took a 1978 chevy truck and bolted the axles on to the stock frame with a set of 4" springs,A lot like the original napco 4x4 trucks were done. Also took the 350 motor ,trans and transfercase and put in the frame. The 78 and 59 frames are the same width except at the very front, easy swap all bolted in and can be put back stock at anytime. A fun daily driver .

Re: How about some pics of your 4x4
This is my 69 1/2 ton short bed. It is actually a 69 body on a early 60's chassis.
It has a V8 350/350 combo with a NP203 transfer case. I do not go 4 wheeling but I love the way they look, especially with the 33 tires on factory rally's.
