I believe the answer is...why not? Hard lines just look so much better, and show off your attention to detail.

Re: dinos 64 soon to be a long bed dually

1/4 brake line tubing we had thoughts on stanless but the brake line looked cooler , I got joe a ridgid bender and it works killer. The idea for the hard lines was just to tie both tanks together with a clean look even though you will never see any of it under the bed floor

That's sh***y!! Hope you didn't pay too much for it. Did you get it from someone in mesa by chance? I had noticed that someone out of mesa was selling a boatload of 60-66 parts on craigslist including a chassis, gmc body and step side bed. I wonder if he threw it together and sold it to you???

pretty sure I saw this truck this spring at the Rockton Show/swap meet here in Ontario... GMC hood, chevy grill, forget, but think the dash was a transplant too.

I met the owner of that truck at the Columbus Good Guys show a couple years back. Nice guy and his wife showed me a scrapbook full of projects he'd worked on. I believe he told me the truck started as a GMC firetruck.
