Re: Cubber's Build Thread

Took the stepside to O'reilly today to get some brake fluid for the ranger. Wife's first ride more than around our ittle road. We had a blast! All the guys at the parts store came out to see my truck, since I bought a lot of my odds and ends there. Boy, I love driving that truck, wife is scared of the speed, lol.

Re: Cubber's Build Thread

Sweet!!!!! Glad you got to take the stepside out for a little fun. It makes you fall in love all over again with your truck! I need to hurry up with some work on mine so I can take it out some more. Mine's currently on a jack stand haha

Nice score on the ranger! We know you'll get it running good and giving you those MPG's you want!

Re: Cubber's Build Thread

maybe its just the linkage. We need to put a 383 in it anyway.

Re: Cubber's Build Thread

haha! I don't think the linkage is causing the squealing and grinding, but if there was a 383 in there, we wouldn't be able to hear it!

Left work a little early today, and decided to take the ol' beater out for a spin, got caught in the rain. I always forget to take pics, but I remembered at the last minute, lol. At least I remembered!

Re: Cubber's Build Thread

I'll get it and let ya know exactly, but I know those tires are 27.2 inces tall, so I'd say 25 inches would be in the ballpark. I'll measure later on and let ya know for sure
