Re: Lets see pics of your truck hauling!!

Hauled 1/2 ton gravel for the driveway. I sort of cringed when it hit the floor and watched the suspension sag, but can hardly tell there is a load! Except driving up the long steep hill.

My dad bought a twin to that truck at Claude Withers Chevrolet, brand new, in 1968. It was a 6 cylinder, TOT, with smog pump.

Re: Lets see pics of your truck hauling!!

I don't know the answer either. Might be a cedar or juniper being in AZ. Back east we have shag bark hickory. I learn of more tree species around this country all the time, as well as right here where I live. It's pretty incredible, all that nature has created

Re: Lets see pics of your truck hauling!!

Soon , I’ll be posting a pic of my 68 k1500 hauling my 69 mustang on a trailer and my 67 Triumph motor cycle in the truck bed. It’s been a dream of mine to do this , it’s just been waiting on the truck . Which will be done soon.

Brought home some flooring. This was the second load. 70 boxes in all. The guy said he didn't want to over load the truck. I thought it could handle it.

Post Aging Out

Working is very good for your health and will greatly extend your life .

Just don't over do it .

I'm disabled yet I still love working, I just have to take a pain pill and hit my recliner after a couple hours of this work of work .

NICE! I hope to live to 83 or so, but I don't know that I will be in that great a condition. Good for your dad!
