Re: ''Project '64 SYT Super Yenko Truck"
Think about finishing one project before the other, or unload the both trucks for that!

Re: ''Project '64 SYT Super Yenko Truck"
i can trade my ford straight across for this one
its a 1990 model with a tbi 350 and those are 38s the only thing about it is that it has a salvage title how hard would that be to get insurance and what not

Re: ''Project '64 SYT Super Yenko Truck"
ask your parents
dude.. seriously SELL the ford to pay for your project... your obsession and ADD is getting kinda annoying.. you need to learn some financial discipline and focus. Do you think that stang your dad has was just majically grown?

Re: ''Project '64 SYT Super Yenko Truck"
Justin chill with Gage man. He's got to learn some how. I know these threads are hear to teach, Say your imput nicely no mater how he takes it.
Why does the truck have a salvage title? If you plan on driving the truck as a DD you are going to waste a lot of gas on it. Those tires cost a lot of money to replace. It's not hard to get a salvage title changed out as long as everything has been fixed. Best thing to do is go ask the DMV about it. Find out what needs to be do. This is really one time I hate to say keep the **** if your going to drive it all the time. How much do you think your **** is worth? How much would the 4x4 be worth? I would really get rid of it and get a cheap import and save on gas and all the parts your going to spend on something else. Then put your money into the truck.

Re: ''Project '64 SYT Super Yenko Truck"
i only drive about 6 miles every day from school to work and to lunch im in a small town and theres not much to do anyway
the f**d was getting sh!tty milage with the 5.4 (about 6-7) and i dont plan on driving a lot and the trucks are worth about the same blazer a little more

Re: ''Project '64 SYT Super Yenko Truck"
something must have really been wrong with that motor if you were getting 6-7mpg. The blazer wouldn't be bad if you dont drive much at all. check into the title and I would say go for it. But you are going to spend some money on the gas. How much do you think it's worth.

Re: ''Project '64 SYT Super Yenko Truck"
I don't think the rears will work. The offset is not right. It looks like the outside edge of the wheel sticks out past the bedside. Just going off what I see. Unless you narrow the rearend, but that would more expensive.

Re: ''Project '64 SYT Super Yenko Truck"
yeah the rear wheels arent the right offset but i dont like my truck low (damn jack wont fit under the crossmember)
its going back to stock height for now so the tires will clear i think my uncle/boss will sell them to me pretty cheap i spent about 10 min on the buffer with some mothers chrome polish and made them look pretty good
