Re: Suburban and panel finds

I had to look it up - because I live in the Wild West and we don’t have those stickers - thankfully because all my cars would probably wear them..
A Red rejection sticker means it failed safety inspection and have 60 days to fix it and get reinspected.
A black rejection sticker means you can’t drive until you fix and pass inspection.

Re: Suburban and panel finds

Reposting from the pickup side. 68 K10 $12,850. Not mine. It looks to be a nice rig for reasonable money.

https://phoenix.craigslist.org/wvl/c...542116279.html

I'll let the pics describe the burb. I have more if you are interested. Did body work and paint 8 years ago (rocker panels etc). Was a daily driver until 4 years ago. Electronic ignition. 3 Speed Manual. 4 wd works. Have back seat. I believe everything works but the horn. Runs and drives good. Never wrecked. Holes in hood from a sheep outfitter's client bouncing rounds off of it (in case you were wondering).
As is where is. Have title in hand.

Reposting from truck side. A 72 with lots of poor photos $12,000. Not mine. The previous one I posted looks to be a better deal compared to this one.

Re: Suburban and panel finds

Another rare 3 door from the pickup side. A 72 K model for $5500. Not mine. Could use a good buffing and some assembly. Too bad they didn't post the SPID cause I see A/C ,tilt, lots of trim and 3 rows. I'm guessing it wasn't a crummy hauling loggers in the woods. If that body is solid this could be a good buy.

https://phoenix.craigslist.org/nph/c...551774669.html

1972 Suburban Project Rare 3 door, v/8-350 400 transmission, power steering, power disc brakes, tilt steering, Dual factory AC, complete 4 wheel drive. Has been taken apart for restoration 99% complete. Everything is there and in nice shape.
Not interested in parting out. No Rust

Re: Suburban and panel finds

A 72 K10 $10,000. Not mine. It seems like a lot of money for a lot of rust. But that's only my opinion.

https://seattle.craigslist.org/kit/cto/7553789751.html

1972 Custom C10 4WD Chevrolet Suburban. Has rebuilt 350 with cam, aluminum intake, Edelbrock carburetor, electronic ignition, front disc brakes, rear leaf springs, air shocks and 3rd row seat. Not sure, but guessing odometer has rolled over. Have owned for 15 years-runs and drives well with fully functional 4WD. Has rust (see pics), so needs cosmetic work and a windshield. You do not see these around-we get comments every time we take it out.

Re: Suburban and panel finds

What are the odds of two 72 K10s for sale? This one is $7500 with barn doors. Not mine. It's got a long list of options on the SPID too bad we can't read them.

https://bellingham.craigslist.org/pts/7553466369.html

1972 ½ ton Suburban. Was going to do a Duramax swap but have too many other projects. I don't have ANY paperwork for it at all, but will gladly write a bill of sale. I HAD A STACK OF PAPERWORK AND LOST IT ALL! Motor turns over and I haven't looked at it beyond that. Looks like it's missing a coil and that's it. Automatic, np205 transfer case. Lets work out a deal, let me know. Thanks! Text prefered. Leave a message if no answer please

I'm not a fan of the rear wheel well modifications. It does limit your wheel and tire choices a bit. I must be showing my age but why would you install the freshly upholstered seats on new carpet and not paint the mounts?
