This is one of my favorite builds!
Are there any plans for OnStar or the paskeyIII Systems?

Your using the "stick on" lower trim right? What about the upper trim? If I remember right it is all Mar-K?

Wow... how about a few questions.

All of the trim is Mar-K. I'll be using their stick on clips. The upper trim is "custom" fit for the suburbans now and available for purchase. I'll post more pictures when I put it all on.

Rob that thing is looking amazing!!!

Good quality on the trim? I need to pick up a set of wood trim in the future (not for my '69) and am looking for a nice set.

That chrome looks great! I think it's really the only way to go with a burb or a long truck. It's really surprising to me how many people don't like the upper and lower trim. This is a first class build. Wish I had the bucks to go as far as you have!

Mar-K makes very nice trim. I've heard people say on par with or better than NOS. They build it theirself in the Heartland of America, .

Thanks MC. The trim certainly helps break it up and not look like a limo, .

Not yet. I'm still trying to figure out how to make that happen. Maybe in a year or so....

Between all your vehicles, You should have everything figured out for mine and tested. What gauges are those? Do they come with all the correct sensors for the LS engine. Did you set them up yourself in the cluster or preinstalled? Looking real nice. The Mar-K trim looks real good, I might have to run over there one of these days.

The gauges are Autometer ProComps. They do come with sensors. I had to buy a couple of adapters, but nothing expensive (see pictures below). I bought all the gauges and boardmember Putter installed them in the bezel (here's a link to the writeup:

http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=188607

http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=110613 ).

Mar-K makes high quality parts. I have purchased many from them and toured their shop. It's a first notch operation! OK, now for some progress. I had my glass guys install the rear hatch glass and the 2 side glasses. They will be back next week to put the front windshield in. I call them my "glass guys" because I won't let anyone else touch my projects, . They've been doing glass for me for about 15 years. They're car guys and the truly enjoy working on older vehicles (they've been in business for 42 years!). Here's some pictures of the glass and a couple of pictures of my solution to putting the temperature sender in the passengers side head. It's a 1/8 npt to 12mm 1.5 bushing. It beats drilling and retapping the head and it's not as bulky as the adapters most people use.

Thanks. I'm thinking about getting one of these dash pads since I need to add some more gauges for the supercharger. Any thoughts? I know it reduces the "stock" look, but it would make adding the gauges so much easier. Also, I know I need a boost gauge, but I have two other holes to fill, any suggestions?
