Not usually a big fan of red interiors but this looks killer! I agree with Cheby, the steering wheel and guages are perfect for this truck.

Re: Pops 72 cheyenne dropmember build

Thanks not finished yet but are they really ever done. I still plan on putting the wilwood 16 inch front brakes on it and I will be doing full custom red interior with a tea's bench seat at some point. Novelli rod and customs and I are in the middle of build the inner fenders we are starting this today and will have it done in 2 weeks for az. The wood bed is cut and stained. Now it needs to be cleared and back in it goes.

Thats a great question. I work 8-5 pick my kids up from school, hang out with them until they go to bed at 8 and out to the shop I go to work until around 12 then I get up and do it all over again.

Re: Pops 72 cheyenne dropmember build

Ok here is an update. Bed is getting closer to being finished. Had the battery box and the ice chest striped by Mike Clines. I have not cut and buffed the bed yet but is still looks cool. I had some lower kick panels built for the bottom of the doors and kick panel. Also had some floor mats made. Mario and Bill Novelli are building the inner fenders should be cool.

Re: Pops 72 cheyenne dropmember build

How did you end up attaching the wood floor to the steel bed floor?

Re: Pops 72 cheyenne dropmember build

The wood comes in three section front section middle and back. It is sealed front and back and has a small 1/8 inch piece of wood attaching each section together. Then you place the front and rear sections first and the hump holds it all together. worked out well. I am not done I have a few more tricks I will try to get finished before I leave for the show in two weeks.

Re: Pops 72 cheyenne dropmember build

I agree with the others, all home runs. The wood looks incredible, just had to pull back on the camera shot. I see what you meant about the rough bed coat pushing the rustic wood. The interior panels look amazing. Have fun at Goodguys, and Dinos.
