Pretty painless compaired to some. Looks good.

Thanks for the info, I crunched the right front fender on mine and haven't had any luck finding an original yet. I don't want to go with a reproduction but yours looks nice.

Here is one I bought to flip earlier in the year. I am a big fan of the slant nose but wasn't to sure about the missing bumpers. What do you all think about the no bumper look?

I personally really like the no bumper look... gives that hot rod look. But with these trucks.. with or without is hot. Im going without on mine too.

Not sure on the color name or number as it was painted when I got it. It was a deep maroon color. I just had to get the LT1 engine running after 4 years of sitting so I could sell this one. I don't really know any of the history.

My favorite combo was this truck with a slammed stance and a completely smoothed chrome front bumper. I really didn't want to sell this one but a good friend kept after me for a long time and hit me at a moment of weakness!

Cool thing about south Texas is you can work and drive them year around. You are more likely to sweat than shiver down here. LOL

Re: Let's see those slant noses. Calling all 67's & 68's, clips too.

My 68 shorty. Have since replaced the wheels you see w/the factory 6 lug wheel, white walls and full size wheel cover. I've owned it for going on 31 years. The chrome trim on the hood was there when I got it. The pieces on the edges of the hood are from a 58 Impala (sat on the tops of the front fenders). Have never been able to figure out where the center strip came from. Any ideas?

Here's my nose job. It's my awesome barn find 1968 Chevy C-10. I paid $3K for this running/driving factory ordered 396 cu in truck with PS/PB, factory air, auto transmission & a 12 bolt rearend. I know it's a long bed but I dont mind it. It was cheap, running, no rust and it has a factory ordered big block & yes it's documented on the SPID inside the glovebox lid.

Hey, nothing wrong with a long bed. You get more truck for your buck. Very nice example of a truck. Good find.

Thanks sboris, it's a great truck. And I like trying to keep it stock looking too.

Here's my 67 I just picked up last week. It's already been lowered with ccp springs and drop spindles. Also a disc brake conversion.
