Funny thing is I was saying that to myself when I was loading up the truck.
I couldn't even give that stuff away

Just remember me when you get tired of them in a year or so! Had my funds been better right now I'd of been on those very quickly myself. They look awesome.

Re: My Crew Cab Short Bed Project, AKA "Project Destiny"

I had an 87 SWB back in the 90's that was that gray, loved it. Looked killer with all new moldings on it. We had painted it for a guy (warranty from GM) and they paid for all new chrome. I bought it about 6 months later from him, kept it about 6 months myself, . But the color was nice.

I thought you had a blue interior though?

blue, black, and charcoal can co-exist, can't they?

Re: My Crew Cab Short Bed Project, AKA "Project Destiny"

my funds weren't quite right, but I wanted them bad!!
so I dug a little hole to get them
I just love them on my truck.
Now i can't wait to get it all one color.....I'm back to thinking a nice dark satin blue will look killer....
I really like the color scheme of your parts burb, so I'm thinking of re-creating it with satin black and dark satin gray.....

The wheels look great on the truck. It was nice to see it in person finally. Always good to see you and the family, too.

Jon got to meet Mitch and Molly.
They went with us, but they weren't too happy when the sun went down and it got cold. Mitch just kept staring at us through the back glass like he was super pissed

Hot Rod Flatz has a satin midnight blue that might be cool. I'm going to check a local place and see what they have to offer

As long as it's a medium to dark blue I'd be happy
