Re: Shawno72's long overdue 68 daily driver build thread
Thanks guys. Yes I worked out a deal for some rear springs. I actually think I want to save up a little cash and get the paint done. Truth be told ice kind of hit a wall with this build, been really enjoying driving it. Kind of want to take a little breather for a month of two and see what I feel to do next. Gonna hit the brothers show in June 350 miles south in LA.

There is a complete PB drop member setup front and rear in the for sale area. not badly priced. As for paint, I did just buy myself a good ol cheap gun yesterday!

Why would you even consider selling it?

Re: Shawno72's long overdue 68 daily driver build thread
I think $15 is a bit for a long bed. I don't know all you details about motor and all but with yours being pretty straight, unpainted, but clean to say the least. 9-10k would be tops IMO. It's a weird market for these trucks, if you look hard enough you can find someone selling a completely rebuilt truck, perfect body and paint for 4-5k. Other times people want 10-15k for rusted junk. I'm sure for the right buyer you could get close to that, just not me.

Re: Shawno72's long overdue 68 daily driver build thread
Not really looking to sell unless for the right price. My wife actually wants me to keep it. It really is a straight truck with all the hard stuff done.

Re: Shawno72's long overdue 68 daily driver build thread
Not sure. Just bounceing some ideas out there. I possibly may looking at a job that will almost double my incomes so I'm thinking aloud about transportation but with the huge increase in pay I can buy a nice car relativly quickly. To be honest when I think of all the work I've done to this truck I cringe at the thought of selling it. Closer to being done than when I started

Well everytime you have an evil thought like that you need to jog around the block. Eventually you won't have those evil thoughts..

Hey! welcome back! I thought you got body snatched or something. I think either would look good but I would probably prefer grey myself.

I was kinda thinking grey as well, easier to keep clean for a daily and with all the blacked out wheels.......well you know.
