your friends must get sick of you calling them to take the cab and bed off every week. the rc car videos are pretty cool too.

as for the dash, how do you think a 60-66 dash would look. i bet you could do someting pretty cool with it and it would tie in with the hood

THey don't mind the bed but the cab is another story.

I loked at doing the 60's dash but I want something with more shape to it. I am going to build one and see what happens

The vid was kewl. I must say you should get the award for the best metalwork in a outside garage. Hell ... I've seen worse from high end closed in shops.

Thanks guys, no updates yet. The steel supplier couldn't get the size I wanted so instead of notifying me they just didn't place the order. I now have a 5x10 sheet on order that should arrive any day now.

hey, if you dont mind me asking, how much was the 5x10 sheet and what guage is it?

im looking for maybe a few sheets to make a console and build some panels to cover some cargo areas in the back..

i would love to make a dash for my truck. i feel i have the ability to do the fab work, just not the wiring.
