Re: What did you do to your truck today part II.

Very nice looking truck!

Isn't that also (almost?) exactly the same as the truck that they used in that stupid vampire movie?

I got the part of the roof and cab that were once white being a 2 tone custom cab treated for rust, dents fixed, sanded and ready for primer

Re: What did you do to your truck today part II

Fabricated a sturdy bracket to hold my junkyard spare tire holder. Now I have a crank style spare holder instead of the original PITA style. From the angle of the photo, it looks like the tire is hanging pretty low, but from normal height, it's tucked up underneath real nice. I have a flip down license plate holder on order to provide easy access to the crank receiver, once installed, I'm good to go.

The cab and the chassis were reunited after a long separation.

Re: What did you do to your truck today part II.

I welded the first set of holes up, too tight, and relocated the new latches. Not sure I like this set up. Better now.

I added some numbers onto the front hood badge to better represent what is under the hood of my 64 GMC.

Re: What did you do to your truck today part II.

I shoe horned my green truck into the garage to put a clutch in it. The thing barely moves anymore.
