Re: 198Plus build

Change in plans again....... I didn't like the way seam sealer turned out on my bedside, I should have welded the seam long ago. Since my bed is almost finished I didn't want to warp the metal. So I first started by drilling very small holes in the seams every 12" then welding each hole, hopefully this will stop any bed flex and then we filled the seams with 3m panel bond to finish the seam.........

Went ahead and welded the back seams

Re: 198Plus build

You gonna wash my wheels before you bring them over?

Better to make your truck you want it while you can. Remember I told you if you don't you will be sitting at the car show wishing you had.

In hindsight I would have changed a couple things.

There was a beautiful charcoal gray 64 at a car show not long ago. I was ooowing and aaahhhing and then I walked around back to see that he had deleted the tailgate chains- after he painted it. I hate doing shtuff twice so I guess that's why It's taken me 5 years to get half way done on mine.
