Great pics Alex. Love the antique look you gave some of them too.

Making good progress. Nice to see you back at it. Keep it up.

Re: LS1 into a 73 cheyenne

I have completed the head assembly mock up and clearances are now good. I also need new shorter push rods at 7'', according to the calculations PTV clearance is good and on the safe side, this was my worst case scenario valves crashing into pistons. On the LS series they recommend to stay below a .600 max lift on the valves other wise you will need to shave pistons or add a thicker gasket or adjust cam timing.
Here are a few pics of the MLS gasket, and the valvetrain set up, minus the pushrods thats why they're all up, and one pic with the taller valve covers.

Re: LS1 into a 73 cheyenne

I think you have to post them in the "For Sale" forum. And you have to be a paying member of the forum. It's only like $25 & its well worth it for all the extra perks.

superdav, please find a better way to express yourself. That was probably meant to be humorous and may fly on other types of forums but crosses the line here. People taking the time to let us see their projects should not have to deal with awkward comments like that.
