I think they suit my motor better anyhow.
I dig the factory VCs. They go well with the air cleaner too.

Thats pretty cool there. Does it do much to deaden any sound? Man I really like that!

I don’t think that it deadens the sound much but it might. I have so much bondo in the roof that I don’t have much vibration from that area. I did it more for heat than sound. The sealing is hot to the touch in the summertime without it.

Super nice. Looks great day or night. That is what I always try to do. No matter when you look at it, it looks good. You have managed to do that.

Finished the conversion to a dual master cylinder.

Took it out for a test drive and it worked nice. Except I found out that while my turn signals work, my brake lights & rear park lights do not. They did a few weeks back...damnit, what happened?

Finally got around to installing the side vents from CorvetteJim. Also installed door jamb switches and under dash courtesy lights.

Looks good. I still have to install the door ham courtesy lights. Was it hard at all? Any pics of the switches in the door jamb or advice?

Wasn't hard at all. If you look just to the left of the driver's ac vent in the door jamb, you'll see where I mounted the driver's side switch. The passenger side switch is mounted in the same place on the other side. I used 68 corvette door jamb switches that I picked up at the local parts store. Since I have no access to the back and wanted the switches to thread in, I drill a 1/4" pilot hole, then used a punch to enlarge it. This essentially rolled the metal inward giving me more material to tap. To give the wire a place to run through, I drilled a 3/8" hole 1/2" above the lower bolt that secured the dash to the A-pillar.

I pulled my seat out to take to the upholstery shop. Just showing I still have the factory jack under the seat. I have no idea if it works or not. At least I think that is the factory jack.

Looks like it to me. Even has the ceremonial hydraulic leak.

Wow! I like it. I don't care for the appearance of black transport wheels, but those look good in a light colour.

Thanks! I used Rustoleum and mixed blue and yellow with white until I got this shade of green. I'm quite happy with how it has turned out!

Consider stripping the black paint off those caps. We did a set of GMC caps like that for buddy's 67 and did the letters in red and they look fantastic.
