Re: Random Photos ‘You took’

Thanks. They are great to have. That one isn't mine. This aluminum was .040". That brake is for heavier bending and is 14'6" long. I have an 8'6", 10'6", and a 12'6". I think .032 (heavier gutter stock) is pushing it on mine. .024 is what the trim coil stock is I normally bend. That thicker metal made it harder to get a good fit on the end caps.

At home I've been re-doing the window sills at the porch roofs. The windows barely fit between the upper soffit and the roof, so the sills are integrated with the roof flashing. I've replaced the shakes with metal roof, so that's why I'm changing the sills. The way I did them before ended up holding some water, so doing some improvement on that as well.

The rain runs fast out of the upper downspouts across the metal roof, so I made some deflectors out of the old copper drip edge

Not today, right? We're not that much farther north (46.223) and it's not even starting to get light now until about 6:30.

I took it this morning at 0700 on the dot. Things were quiet and I had time get outside and be ready to get a picture at the right moment. I kinda wish I had skipped the 2nd cup of coffee. My hands would have been steadier and focus would have been clearer.

St Johns Bridge ,, I knew a kid when I was around 12 years old that told me he stole bycycles and threw them off this bridge at almost to the end of it .He told he didnt need them any more as he was almost home ... he lived up German town area .. I lived some 50 miles down river from this bridge but ,,still this what this kid told me..

As for me ,,I used to go across this bridge to a store that sold work clothes and rain gear and boots , pretty popular in my working days to buy from this place .. Bridge brings back memeories ,, thx

Nice shot! It's light out going to work now that time has changed and I don't like it. Something about leaving before it's light out makes me feel like I'm more on the ball. Now I feel like I'm starting late every morning

Drolet 2000 does a great job over my old Vermont castings . Less wood used and more heat . Ceiling is 8 ft high , 8x8x5=320 just shy of 3 cord . Have about 6 in the basement

Well, maybe you can meet up and hitch a ride with CG when he comes . On my end it's a serious offer. Anyone who wants to drop me a line and stop by, stay over, or whatever is welcome here. I don't even care if you just drop in unannounced!

New tools, all Made in the USA. I love those hammers. I somehow have managed to lose two. I hold on to my tools forever, but not those for some reason. I call it my "Li'l Thumper". The first one fell off the tractor. I searched hard for it, but couldn't find it. Bought another, then that winter I found the first one and gave it to my son. I have no idea what happened to Li'l Thumper #2, but I saw my son still had #1, so he didn't take it. Li'l Thumper #3 I hope stays with me
