Re: off it goes
Been reading this thread and showing outside car buddies this thing daily...lol
The wheel situation is a tough one. On one hand you have a very killer looking billet wheel that is timeless and aggressive looking, however with the paint scheme you've chosen, the rallies give it that uber refined factory look you're going for. Either way, you can't miss. My .02. |

Re: off it goes
I think the billets as well, BUT you haven't missed yet on this project so it's gonna look awesome either way!

Re: off it goes
I dig both the billets and the rallies. If I had to pick one I'd probably say rallies. The big truck rallies are growing on me the more I see them.

Re: off it goes
I was not a fan of the big rallies, that just changed.
Rallies would look killer on your truck with the color scheme and painted bumpers. |

Re: off it goes
Thanks guys, for now I will most likely keep the billets, just due to the fact they are brand new. They have a few miles on them but it's just from pushing it around the shop, lol. I want to see what these rallies look like on a truck at ride height, all the pics I've seen posted are aired out, to me every wheel looks killer on a truck aired out. As for under the hood, we used a whole lot of elbow grease and sand paper. There is so many nooks and cranny's on the hood it was hard to do.

Re: off it goes
I like 'em both, but the Silverado rallies kinda fit the stock subtle look of your truck which seems to be the what's hot right now...

Re: off it goes
Wow, an awesome and subtle truck. My vote is the billets.
Just a comment on your hinge catcher - beuatiful but not functional. The head is designed to catch on the hood metal, without the head it just keeps sliding back and up. Of course you aren't palnning on getting in a frontal collision with it.

Re: off it goes
Bodywork on inner fenders and rad support is done and sprayed with slick sand filler primer for blocking.

Re: off it goes
Looks great! Are those rigid enough to block them without being mounted? How are you going to go about blocking them out?
