Re: My Facetruck thread.
She's single, she's hot and She lives right across the street and I can see her place from my kitchen window!
I watched as she got home from work this evening. I was surprised when she walked across the street, up my driveway and knocked on the door! I opened the door, she looked at me and said: "I just got home, and I have this strong urge to go dancing and drinking, and maybe fool around a little..you know, have some fun. Are you doing anything tonight?" I quickly replied: "Nope, I'm free!" "Great!" she said. "Can you look after my dog?"

Re: My Facetruck thread.
There was a gal in my homeroom in HS that I was so taken by I never said a word to her. And I never had an issue talking with girls. I think she had a crush on me too, because finally that spring one day, from out of the blue, she asked me if I could watch her dog while she went out of town for the weekend.
So, I had to come to her house, meet her folks, to get Sebastian. He was a big old shaggy sheep dog and we hung out all weekend. The rest of the story is, this was the icebreaker that brought us to dating. It was a great relationship. She moved an hour or so away and we kept it up. She went off to college in CO. I went out there for a while, but traveled around some and we ended up going our separate ways. Next time a gal asks me to watch her dog I'll do it...if she appeals to me. This woman across the street will need to come pick her dog up once she's done dealing with all the losers at the bar. All primed up, coming back to her beloved friend... and you, that nice selfless and considerate man who is too good to be wasting his time on a bar stool. Hmmm................

Me, "How's the new girlfriend?".
Freddie, "Say's she's ready to walk down the isle.". Me, "What did you do?". Freddie, "Sent her grocery shopping.".

Kids are great at that age. I don't last long enough, so soak it all in.

Re: My Facetruck thread.
Karate/martial arts is a great thing to give your kids. Mine went through classes at school age, too. It gave my older son focus when he was all over the place and no listening. Walk in that door and it was do what Sensei Al said.
I just enjoyed the day with my 3 year old grandson yesterday. So I get to see another boy to man cycle. He is a great little dude. We stayed busy doing whatever. They just came to the area to live for the next 14 months and until now I've only seen him a few times. We's tight from that first time. He now says I've gone from Pop to Best Friend. I told him I'll always be Pop but I'll be Best Friend, too!

Re: My Facetruck thread.
I just checked in to 67-72chevytrucks.com/FB and OMG it was painful.
A guy posted a pic of a 15X8 steelie with a hubcap, and wanted to know what they were. It was a very legitimate question, but he got answers all over the place. Even that they were rallys.

Re: My Facetruck thread.
Now that's a good one. To think I could have had that right here in the basement with me. He offered it to me at least once a month.
But it would have made me miserable with people asking for gifts and such.

Re: My Facetruck thread.
Thanks for sharing. I do like those. I've been dreaming up trucks for eons. I feel like I've seen those in my head before. I'd like to get with that renderings guy with some of my creations.
