Not MINE, but here is a good one.
I took my wife up to Big Bear this weekend for our 6th anniversary and this 68 was sitting there to welcome us for the weekend! I don't have any info on who's it is, but it sure looks nice!

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Burbans!
Wow, there are some beautiful Suburbans on these pages, I love the 4x4's.
So this is the 1969 C20 Suburban that we just picked up. We bought it from the 2nd owner. My wife's previous ride was a '72 GMC Suburban that had a rebuilt 350 with a turbo 400 that ran great, but the body was not in great shape. She had been wanting me to do the body work on the '72 while I was working on her '66 GMC Custom Deluxe Suburban. I kept telling her to just be patient and that I'd get the '66 done soon. I wasn't wanting to put the money or time into the '72 knowing we'd sell it once the '66 was completed. Well, we came across the '69 and took a look at it and it was perfect for shuttling the kids around and heading to the beach and all. The previous owner installed an MSD electonic ignition, changed the rear main and a few other seals, installed new tires, aluminum wheels, Magna Flow dual exhaust, Hedman headers, Edelbrock intake, Edelbrock carb, changed the seals in the axle, installed a tach and water temp gauge. Here's a few more pics from this link. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s....php?p=4950344 Thanks, Chris 1966 GMC Custom Deluxe Suburban with factory roof rack 1969 Chevy C20 Suburban Last edited by 1972GMCSUB; 11-14-2011 at 04:12 AM. I hope it's alright to post other people's trucks, because this is another one I saw. I was running through my neighborhood and saw this one. I had to take a picture! I may stop and talk to the owner one day... couldn't hurt!

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Burbans!
not trying to highjack but- that Motorhome next to it is very rare also. It's an American Clipper side kitchen. they only made less then 4600 american clippers from start of production in 1973 untill they stopped building them in 1980. and most of those were rear kitchen models. I have a '77 rear kitchen that I use alot and that one looks to be in real good shape.
if anyone is interested heres a link to an owners club for these units http://www.americanclipperownersclub.com/history.html

Welcome! Nice burb...always like seeing them in other parts of the world....especially when they get daily driven. Be sure to make a build thread as you fix it up/paint it.

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Burbans!
My suburban came home last week after sitting for more than 10 years. Fired up after a few seconds and drove it on- and off a trailer. Busy with the brakes at this moment. I'll put some TLC in it and hit the road about a few weeks.
This one is from '68 and is powered by a 396cui. The pics: See ya. The Frisian outlaw |

67 cheby: I just bought this car. The last owner didn't use it for 10 years.
67 Burb: Your Dutch is ok! The 396 will be thirsty, but the fuel is very cheap over here , so that's no problem.. I think I have to look for a second job The Frisian outlaw |
