Sorry for the late reply Duane. I'm not going to make LST this year. Too many prior commitments. I will be at C/10s in the park. Hope to see you there

No worries Mike. I'm registered and have my room reserved for C/10s in the park. Barring any big changes, I'll see you there!

Re: Knomadd '71 SWB C-10

Okay, time for some minor updates... well 2 updates anyway.

I had a compressor quit working on me a little while back, so I had to get it out and replace it. Out with the old and in with the new

And I finally painted the intake tube black.

Still working out ideas for the intake cover...

Hope I never have to replace a compressor... have to remove the bed to get to them. Engine bay looks great. Interested to see what you come up with on the intake cover.

I know you're going to Lone Star, but have you given any thought to the LMC C10 dealio up at TMS in Fort Worth the first of May?

Thanks guys! I appreciate the kind words. Vic, I hadn't heard of the LMC C10 show before now. I'll have to look into it.

Re: Knomadd '71 SWB C-10

Your truck is looking stellar! How long did you get out of your compressor? I know my 480 doesn't like the cold weather. Anything under 25* and it really sounds odd. I hope it keeps working for a while.

Re: Knomadd '71 SWB C-10

Thanks Ryan, I got about 4 years out of that one, but the other is still running strong. I have dual 444C Viair's and dual 3 gallon tanks with the Porterbuilt brackets mounted in front of both rear tires.

The 444C's have thermal overload switches, which I have a suspicion that it went bad on this compressor. One day when I'm out of stuff to do, I'll open it up and see what I find.

Thanks! The headlights are made by Dapper Lighting, their V2 model. Here's a link https://www.dapperlighting.com/....v2

Re: Knomadd '71 SWB C-10

I took my GTO to a local-ish car show this past Saturday. All of my friends who go to shows with me were otherwise occupied, so I convinced the wife to come along with me so I wouldn't be alone. She thought about it and decided it might be fun, so she agreed. But... The night before the show, I asked her if she wanted to drive the C/10 and enter it herself... She was happy about it, so we drove both vehicles to the show. Me in the GTO, here in the C/10.

This isn't something I get to see very often, so I had to snag a photo

Stopped for breakfast on the way. Here was our view...

And a couple pictures at the show

The drips/spill was there before we parked... no the C/10 isn't leaking.

Thanks guys. She had fun, which made it more fun for me. We switched and she drove the GTO home and I took the truck. This shot was taken as I was leaving the show.

Dang, Duane, looks like you're a YouTube star!!

I'm hoping when we bring CRLS down to Houston in May we can drop by Rosenberg and see your rides in person. We'll be staying in the Copperfield area.

Just been putting miles on Brutus, enjoying the new engine/trans/rear gear. Took it to work a few times and had to snap a picture or two.

Your truck is beautiful.
Love the wheels and stance.
But I can't help but think your fenders looks naked without some fender emblems.

Maybe some cool Billet Badges from @radmachining.
Check him out on Facebook or Instagram.
This is just some of his amazing work,...
