Re: Project "Tiffany"

Fresh drivetrain swap (retro Don Hardy LS/4l80e/Ford 9") has been done along w/some engine compartment cosmetic repairs. They're shooting for (hoping) to have it ready for some Fall events but not going to 'hurry' things vs get them right.

Not sure what wheels it will have but she still looks great.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

Not sure where 'she' lives these days.... I just know where she's visiting for the updates. I've only known the original builder & nothing about subsequent owners.

I’m pretty sure Tiffany is getting a new set of Vintecs.
20/22 combo.

Agreed but didn't want to say since I was not positive.

He's been traveling for multiple shows across the South/Southwest, Mid-West, & along the Gulf coast. He's been working on his stuff, stuff he's bought & flipped, house repairs, helping friends out, & working w/our longtime brother in arms helping him get projects completed. So..... He's still busy.

They're getting more involved w/the LS drivetrains so I've offered my labor to be involved (to learn a thing or two hopefully). He's still the same 'Ol guy.

Re: Project "Tiffany"

I've always loved his builds and posts, along with Delmo's builds and posts. These 2 are the ones that got me interested in C10s.

Re: Project "Tiffany"

I got a little bit done today on the truck. I started putting the motor together, it's now down to me getting the valve covers bodyworked and painted and then I should have the motor about ready to drop in the chassis. I also got the front completely done on the frame and started pulling the rear apart to swap out the axles and prepare for the Captain Fab brackets for the disc brakes. I didn't get any pictures.....phone was on the charger while I was working and I forgot....

Looks great! I really like that bracket/pulley setup, it looks really sharp.
What brand is that?
