So are you going orange, black, or matching the truck? (or something else?)

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread
You did a great job on the heads...are you planning to pull out a rotary tool and smooth it all out too? (Might as well...)

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread
that would sure look killer...but...NO, it was a big enough pain to just strip it , i cant even imagine how much time it would take to smooth them out !!

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread
Haha! I couldn't even imagine ever doing it. I love going to shows and staring at details, but to honest, a smoothed block is never a detail I look for or even have ever noticed.

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread
if i would smooth some of the block out i would do the valey and all the holes to get the castingflash out and improve crackresistance and oil flowback

Looks good man! Love the wheels! How did you strip the block? I've got a few different coats of paint on mine and having a hell of a time getting it off. Cory

$10k? We always underestimate! I am jealous of alot of things you did on your truck and will keep them in mind on my next project. Love the valvecovers!!!

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread
No kidding. My wife always doubles the amount of money I think a project will take and triples the amount of time I think it will take. She has been pretty close to right every time.
