Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds Part 2
Yes, it's funny how folks interpret what they have. I think the correct "C/10" fender emblems on these 69/70 base K10s tend to throw some folks off, but I agree, have seen the error in both directions.

Looks nice. Not a Silverado, though. Aftermarket AC- I wonder if the parts under the hood are still there?

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds Part 2
My brother doesn't know it yet but the truck fits him to a tee. He's been talking about a 4x4 leaning an old Landcruiser. Downside he doesn't have the garage space for any vehicle less a LWB. Personally, I'd take a look but I don't have a garage for it either. I sent him the link.
Interesting there are quite a few of these in town completely uncovered though, there they sit year after year, all drivers. Quite a few here is about 8-15 Used to be one every block, now I see 1-2 on the road every few days.

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds Part 2
I agree with you. I bought this truck lwo years ago in Truckee. It is not a 67-72 but I used it to haul a 67 K10 short stepside from california. This is a 1995 GMC K2500 that had only 50,000 miles on it. The 454 hauled the load just fine. But it is getting harder to find a nice truck in CA.

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds Part 2
68 C20 Custom Camper $29.5K
Looks medium olive to me(!) but I suspect it's just a camera/lighting thing (or perhaps it's just my computer) and is anniv gold, although that's not mentioned in the ad. Can "almost" see an anniv seat cover, but only very top and a sliver of fabric visible. Interior and engine pics would be nice |

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds Part 2
I cringe whenever I see a decent old truck that has hacked up mods. A double-cringe when the owners always think these mods raise the value of the truck.
