Re: "Project Orangepeel" 52 A.D

pic 1. Bed and running boards on for final time.

Pic 2. Firewall metal work finished.

Pic 3. Starting bodywork.
I use Fibral by Upol it's a fiberglass filler, spreads like regular filler
And sands really easy. I have been using this as my first pass for strength as it cures super hard.

Looking good. Will be interested to see what you think of the Fibral. Have you used USC All Metal or the Evercoat product line?

Re: "Project Orangepeel" 52 A.D

8Man...Yes I have used the all metal and it seems to go bad in the can fairly quick and have also used the evercoat.
The Fibral I have used for about a year and love it!

Re: "Project Orangepeel" 52 A.D

Some more progress on the firewall
I usually start with the Fibral (glass filler) as it is really durable compared to standard filler.
Then I use my usual overcoat gold filler and after getting fairly close I spray the poly primer.
This type of primer is a High build primer (like slick sand)

Re: "Project Orangepeel" 52 A.D

Update:

Few shots of the bodywork being done.
It's moving along just fine, should be ready to shoot final primer soon.
