Bought a short bed frame THEN bought this '68 C20 CST/ camper/ AC/ buddy bucket that someone replaced the original buckets with very original looking car high backs / 327/350 with snappy 4.10 ratio Everything except the AC worked. Gauges, horn, dome, back up lights, everything. Then I promptly tore it all apart Currently looks like last pic. Paid $2100

Thanks! I have this one saved but no other good ones. It's a 68 CST longbed with a factory 396/400.

Picked up a used hood and a new passenger fender this weekend. Finally got it sort of mocked up.

Where did you get your fender from and how well does it fit?

It's a Counter Part fender that I picked up from Tommy's Pickup Parts in Shelby NC. I also picked up a new radiator support since mine was shot. Both needed a little work to fit well but I'd say I'm happy with them.

The new fender doesn't fit as well as my original, but after hearing horror stories about aftermarket parts, I was expecting it to put up more of a fight. I had to open up a few holes on the fender and bend a few tabs on the support. I also had to run a tap through all of the nut inserts as most of them had that black paint/coating built up on the threads.

Thanks for the info, I crunched the right front fender on mine and haven't had any luck finding an original yet. I don't want to go with a reproduction but yours looks nice.
