Are my eyes deceiving me? DO you have WWW on driver side and 1" whites on the other? Anyway. It looks like it was worth the wait. Love the no windows for natural air to flow through. Been waiting two years to get my 53 IH Travelall done. I never thought an engine and trans swap could be so difficult.

I hear you mate. When I bought all new glass rubber for my '53 IH Travelall it took 2 days to get them all to fit properly.

Looks like you were running smoothies with those thin white walls. Did you change wheels too? What happened to the wheels

Yeah changed the smoothies for some chrome reverse .. the offset on the smoothies made them far too tucked in at the back.
Still got them in the shed out back :0) |

Re: How about some pics of bagged 47-59
I have an air cylinder that ties into the existing air system, so all you have to do is push a button and wala; the bed tilts up. The air cylinder also keeps the bed down.

Crimbo: love your burb! Sitting real nice!
L50: love to see u pullin trailers! Yours has show & go! Coach: that photo is awesome, but no fair. You live in an area with cool roads, backdrops and sunsets! Sitting here this Sunday morning looking over all these posts. What a great year it was. Lots of cruise's, nice trip to Italy w/the mrs, marring my beautiful daughter of in August. Supposed to get a terrible storm here today in NJ. Just thought I'd post a little fly by of the 7th annual Flemington Historical Speedway Society show last Saturday, 10/21. Weather was unreal. Almost 1000 cars. Great fun, friends, cars and stories! If weather holds, hope to see some of you at Vargo Speedway next Saturday! https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=SGVN10MqeV4 Here's my truck at the show, with my buddy's 53 next to mine... Best to all...

Re: How about some pics of bagged 47-59
Came across this gem recently. I change my mind ever few months on the paint job I want on my truck. This is the first time I've seen one that I possibly could use as an interim paint job step. Anyone know of the builder or any other pictures? I can't even remember how I found it.
How mine is sitting while working on bed mounts

Re: How about some pics of bagged 47-59
I searched for that white truck but couldn't find that pic even. I was searching what's on the door... Rat brothers garage, El Paso Texas. I found a Facebook page for that garage name out of Socorro in the EP area.... But nothing more of the truck.

There's one on this site that hasn't been updated for a couple of weeks.
http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=725080 There's another one over at classictrucktalk that is a little more blow by blow https://talk.classicparts.com/thread...-report.22045/ |
