Re: Project 78 High Sierra

Well sold my Mustang and broke even....Sucks but I didnt want to make a payment and with the Odometer showing 99600 and having all sorts of suspension and other issues I let it go. Now I dont have to make a $370 payment friday So the search for a 65-68 Mustang continues...

On the other hand I installed my new Throttle Bracket and Spring setup on the truck. Adjusted the Kick Down cable but i think it needs a little more as the pedal is still a little tight. Finally Installed and tested my Re-wired Cluster and it had no flaws...

However my gas gauge isnt working right....Found the ground was loose and had to re-wire it to a new ground as the bolt was stripped...No luck....Then I squeezed my hand up in their and the push on connection just poppped off like it wasnt even on.. I managed to get it back on and it was working....Drove the truck to the gas station and it stopped again... Goes past the Full section...Ugh I need smaller arms...... Guess maybe ill have to drop the tank next week if i can...Not sure.....Especially since I dont know when Surgery will be.

Re: Project 78 High Sierra

That's great, Jeff! If your throttle is tight, you might try removing or getting looser return springs.
