Re: Glock's new project: "Fred"

All done! I first took two leafs out, but that was too low. It was lower than the front. Only by 1/2" or so, but noticeable. So we put the thick bottom spring back in, and it sits perfect!!!

Getting in the shower now, athen we are going to go over to Pierce to eat. I'll put up some pics tonight or in the morning. Test drive report coming in a few hours!!

Re: Glock's new project: "Fred"

HOLY CRAP!! Night and day!!!!!! Rolling along at 20-25 and deck it, and it blows the tires off. It doesn't feel as squirrely going down the road either. I'm waaay happy now!

Next up is to lower it a little more all around. Not much, 2"-3" tops. I'll do 2.5" spindles in the front, and I have a set of new stock front springs in the shed that I'll use and cut to adjust the final height. Then in the rear I'll just pull the large lower spring back out. That should put it just about perfect all the way around.

Can you say permagrin!??!!?!!

Prove to us (and the world) that it will boil them from a roll. I don't know if I can believe it yet.

Re: Glock's new project: "Fred"

Thats awesome Bob! Audrey laughed and said, "Why did we see Bob in the movie? And why did he say 'there you go'?" She liked it too.
Edit: Apparently Audrey (my 3 year old girl, for those who don't know) really likes the video. She just made me replay it like 4 times for her.
