Re: My Crew Cab Short Bed Project, AKA "Project Destiny"

Probably a combo of the angle of his driveway and the way the fenders are on those trucks. That is my guess lol.

Re: My Crew Cab Short Bed Project, AKA "Project Destiny"

Scott,
Let me know when you are going back to the paint place.

Thanks Tim!

I was so excited about the wheels that I took that pic right after I lowered it off the jack so the front hadn't settled back down.
If the weather clears up I'll get some better pics with a real camera
Until then, here is one to hold you all over

Joe, have you got a color picked out? I have not been on in a while and may have missed it but thought I'd ask.

Thanks racedaddy!

Some days I think I need to sell it and get a 4x4 crew, other days I think I need to keep it and get a 4x4 crew cab

Or keep it and convert to 4x4 crew! It'll only take a weekends worth of work!

I vote to keep it, and get another one for the 4x4! You know the oldest boy is going to be driving before long.

Re: My Crew Cab Short Bed Project, AKA "Project Destiny"

Well Joe, if the weather is the same as it is here this morning, it is one of the 4 (roughly?) days that I know you really really really wish you had a 4x4. We got about 1/2" of ice with about 3" of snow on top of it. Is just fine driving on unless the road has been "cleared". If it has been cleared, it's a solid ice wash board,

It didn't get as bad down here as it did up there Randy. Still kind of slick, but I didn't have any issues getting to work.
