here's some newer pics of my 69 c20. I was stupid and got rid of her about a year back but came to my senses and got her back. I got a lot of work ahead of my self but I'm just gonna be driving the wheels off it. the guy I had sold it to heated the springs to lower it so I gotta get new springs but I wanna keep her low. the moon discs are gonna come off just not my style.
warmed over 350 with sm465.

1971 GMC 2500 Sierra Custom Camper... 47K original miles. Was a little neglected for the last 10 years by PO. One family truck... from Grandpa to son to daughter... Hoping to revive it a little bit.

The tires are 15". I dropped the front by cutting one coil off the spring. The rear has leaf springs and I took all but the three bottom ones out. Drives good with these changes.

I need to see if there is anyone around here local that can fix it. Replacing it will cost too much $$$ and then it might be too shiny. I put a good 20 hrs into it this past weekend.... Mostly cleaning. F*cking farm truck, I have to get tons of mud to see whats underneath! |
