Yeah---that worked out pretty slick! If I'm seeing it correctly, you're matching the bottom of the new rail to the bottom of the front clip, and pie-cutting the top to meet up with your new rails. You automatically get about a 2" semi-Z. Semi, because the top is z'd but the bottom isn't. The top of the new rail is lower, where the body sits, and that's all that matters (assuming you have an ingenious core support lowering idea!)

And the tie-in of the two looks slicker than pig snot!

What style mirror do you think you will run? I have a billet shop programming some round mirrors in the Muroc 4 style. I paid quite a bit for the CNC programming sooooo it would be cool for someone else to benefit from it.

Yeah, that pinch in the frame would be challenging to cut and keep from pulling while welding.

I'm loving the progress man!

Mike i have seen the Muroc III in person recently, we put a staggared set of 18/20 on a chevelle. its a timeless classic, clean design. Budnik is a great billet choice..I dig the design and fits your truck style perfect GREAT CHOICE!!!! I have a pic of the chevelle somewhere ill try to find it and send it to you.

these get my vote 100%

Re: Slosh Tubz new company project "Square Peg" frame laying 1987 GMC Jimmy

Ahh the joys of a double-move! We did the same thing about 4 years back. Problem was that our land-lord needed to move his son into our rental so he gave us the boot! We were rushed into buying the place we did and are now regretting that. There's another move on my horizon
Good luck man!
