Re: To buy or not to buy
'at's a niiice! And for less money. No rust is a big plus. A little road trip is OK, once in awhile.

Re: To buy or not to buy
That truck looks righteous and its great to hear you found a truck you like at a reasonable price. I gotta ask, are you planning to leave those rims on it?

Re: To buy or not to buy
Very nice truck indeed. Congratulations. Love that color. I have a similar color (code #43 Gulf Green) on my 72 El Camino and love it.

Re: To buy or not to buy
Glad to see you got one. It looks lots better than the first one. But I'm always in favor if green trucks. What engine does it have?

Re: To buy or not to buy
Thanks for the compliments gentlemen. The truck has a 350 that has all the correct date codes. The engine runs good but its a little weak and has a couple leaks so i will be rebuilding it and adding a little power. The truck has been stored for the last 23 years in Kentucky. It was pulled out last year and was "freshened up". Exterior of truck was repainted the factory color however it doesn't quite match the interior. I like the exterior color better so i will be painting the interior to match. It has all the factory panels on it that have the same color as the interior behind the panels. original wood bed that is going to be pulled and re-stained. Here are some pics of the rear wheel openings someone asked for in a pm but i can't figure out how to insert saved images there.

Re: To buy or not to buy
Yeah, that's more like it. I think you did well. I don't see many that color and maybe that's why I like it. One of our members named Sklptrljay out in Cali has one similar. Let me see, I think I have a pic of his. I don't think he'll mind if I post it for him.

OP- That truck looks nice, but not 30K nice IMHO. But hey, the truck will bring in what someone is willing to pay right . . . I think you did well choosing the green one. That's a nice rig.
