Re: RnD Fabrication 1967-1972 Chevrolet & GMC early C10 / C20 / Blazer Radiators!
Hi, I have a 402 bored .030 over and what looks to be a 2 core radiator with room in front and an inch in back on the tank when compared to the radiator core.
I am probably around 500 hp and am looking for a radiator and fan setup with wiring and relays. What do you suggest. thanks, jeff |

Based on location in Texas, and the HP, I'd go with our upgraded dual-speed 17" fan & shroud kit along with the radiator to keep it cool.
1. radiator with discount is $425 2. upgraded fan & shroud kit with discount is $320 3. controller with relay kit is $75 |

I just need an email address and I can send a payment request / invoice. Turn around time is about 2 weeks. For the cap, any standard 12-14lb cap works fine (I prefer the safety cap style)

Hi Sparky, one more question. I have an electric fan pushing through the condenser on front, can I remove that with the high output dual fan setup? Also, I want quiet fans, how noisy are the high output ones?

the radiator is about 3.5" wide, and the dual-speed 17 fan (note that it is a single 17" fan that has a high and low speed) is about the same width, so you'll need around 7" from front to back. For the existing pusher fan, you may be able to remove that but I'd wait until this set up is in place. You will need 3/4" air space min. between the radiator and the condenser.

Hi Sparky, is the standard setup dual fans with shroud? Also, here are some pics. There is like 6.5 inches from very front of core support to accessories. attached a couple of pics.
thanks, Jeff |

Yes, factory AC shroud trimmed 3/4 inch. Will probably trim an addition 1/4 inch next time it's off.
