Yeah, this has been a fun one to follow. Going to live vicariously through you for a bit as mine is stuck in body shop limbo. I have tons of parts waiting to go in my truck and tons of enthusiasm, but no truck to work on. Wish I knew how to weld and paint. Anyway, trucks looking great. Can't wait to see the next steps.

I totally forgot that steering wheel was on that truck when you got it. I remember all the way back in 2001 when I bought that thing new and then traded it to my buddy you bought the truck from. It's good to see it's going to still be on a cool truck.

What size is your wheel? I just got a wheel with a red leather wrap and I'm going to do black or tan. I'd make you a really good deal on the wrap.

on the bench, have you thought about using the spray dye for a temp fix? just spray it black until you get ready to do the interior

Man, that looks nice. Neat idea on the color coordinating. That will make it stand out from the rest. Wish my bed looked that good. I could barely choke down the price of one bedside. Ugh! I think we'll be going the cover route. And that way I won't feel so bad putting my ice chest, chairs, etc in the back when we go to shows! Keep up the good work!

The red bed floor is a very Cool idea. I say no to the flat black stripes though.
Your truck looks amazing!

I agree with lolife99, the truck looks killer, but try to stay away from the racing stripe idea. Not much looks better than a solid black truck. Your truck looks freakin awesome. Great job.

Re: Project ROOKIE (BB, Bags, Short Fleet Frame off)

I got a quick question. The original truck frame with the air setup that had the custom K member, where or whos K-member is that? I have been looking for an aftermarket one and cannot find on for the life of me. I was going to build one but would rather just get a bolt in!
