put the bed on, and glued the weatherstrips on the doors so I hung them. I still have massive problems with the clutch.

Re: so lets build a truck/my '52 chevy
I plan on it. To align it I have to do so without the fenders on because at ride height the truck tucks about 8" of wheel. So the alignment mirrors wont fit on.

Re: so lets build a truck/my '52 chevy
thanks guys.
I'll be doing the alignment myself @ my dad's shop. So it should be alright. I plan on driving the truck a good bit fenderless, so hopefully I can get everything dialed in. |

Re: so lets build a truck/my '52 chevy
well I made a 3/4 inch spacer to get the slave to actually stick far enough out to push on the clutch fingers but I had to re bend the hydro line and I couldn't get it to seal in the slave. Go figure.
So I ordered some more AN stuff to make it all work, at least it will be more blinging braided line. |

Re: so lets build a truck/my '52 chevy
got it tuned. woot. put coolant in it, p/s fluid, gear oil, finished screwin with the slave(hopefully)...and fixed most of the associated leaks with all the fluids since every system leaked somewheres at first.
little vid. sorry on the quality. |

Re: so lets build a truck/my '52 chevy
I used an ebay harness...it was super cheap but I finished it out and it works fine. The connectors are nice and the wires are clean, its no painless, but it works fine.
got my bed lined the other day and guy messed it all up. he didnt seam seal anything, which he was supposed to, and he messed up on the color match. so I went and seam sealed everything, then screwed up the seam seal with a rag to add texture, then recolored everything the correct color. seam sealed and taped... plastic'd brush paint the seam sealer blue since the color is very transparent... crazy converter colored front sheet metal- support- I used strip caulk instead of fender welting for a cleaner look. |
