New to the group but I plan on being there. Would love to meet up at the Red Roof and ride down with all of you. Just need to know what time.

I am hoping to leave the Red Roof Inn about 8:15 or so. This way we should arrive at Young's Dairy about 9am. I am hoping to have a spot that we all can park togeather. I will be making a phone call today for final details.

Ok bwilliams35 is #10 ... who is officially #11 ?

Dewayne

I won't have my old truck with me, but I will still like to meet up at the red roof inn. About sending me a PM with your cell number in case I need it.

I've been sick all week, but starting to feel better today. I'm hoping to drive up and get at least a couple hours in at the show... but I can't push myself too much!

Re: Update-Need Head Count...1st Mid Ohio (Yellow Springs) Mini Meet August 7th...

These are the last of my pics - many thanks to the vendors who stepped up with some GREAT door prizes just for the 67-72 board members.
Thanks to those on the boards that helped orginization the outing and bringing all of us together.
I did find out my truck managed 11.5 GPM for the trip of 200 miles or so.
Not bad for a 500hp BBC with 4.10 gears (the freeway does not get along well with my truck - it runs 3500 rpms @ 60 MPH)
We made it down and back in one piece and it was great to spend time with each and every one of you

Some more pics at the show. Our gang. Great bunch of friends I met today. We need to make/get a "67-72 Chevy Trucks banner" for next years show?

Re: Update-Need Head Count...1st Mid Ohio (Yellow Springs) Mini Meet August 7th...

Thanks for the pics guys...Greatly appreciated. I was going to download more pics but 70cstjr has my camera case with the cables. My mistake. Lots of great looking rides there today from all years.

I also want to thank LMC (although we prefer to say LCM) , Paul of GMCPauls, Mike of mbgmike, & Josh & LIZ for GREAT prizes. A thank you note will be sent to the Vendors on behalf of all of us.

Oh Yes...LIZ Because you are loved by all of us...well most of us you will be recieving a Door Prize on behalf of the group.

Weather was perfect and food and ice cream was great although Bill got a little sloppy with his ice cream cone. .

It was really great to add faces to names and make new friends. I think we had twelve members there and I believe we all had a great time. We will again try to meet at the show next year which is held on the 1st Saturday in August. It will be the 10th year that Vintage Truck and Young's Dairy will sponsor this show and it is going to be even better.

I think we need to have a 67-72 Truck/GMC banner so it will be easier for folks to meet us plus it would be good advertising.

Going home the Circuit Rider cruised without any issues. Also thanks for the oil Bill. I still need to get use to how a 40 year old truck handles.

Well thats all for now...hope to get pics up soon.

Well, I had a really great time at the vintage truck show also. Me personally, it could not have been any better, it's not often you get to hang out at a good car show, not have your vehicle there and still have a nice spot in the shade, make instant friends, and then leave feeling like you've won the lottery. A big thanks to the vendors, and thank you 70cst, your very gracious my friend (paying it forward), also thanks to Downtown for the ride to the truck (my box was a little heavy). And to the rest of you fine folks, I don't think there was a better group there to hang out with.

Re: Update-Need Head Count...1st Mid Ohio (Yellow Springs) Mini Meet August 7th...

Ah man, how did I miss the Orange & white 69/70 truck. Anyway I had a great time and really enjoyed meeting some more board members. I am already looking forward to next year. The vendors were fantastic and am sure Dewayne will list them again on here to remind everyone who contributed. The only sad part was Mike and Andy not being there to collect their door prizes. I can't remember if it was the money, or the truck cover, or the power brake booster and master cylinder, or drop kit they missed out on today. Great time guys.
