my dad's 72 burb c10 had the 1/2 leaf overloads. he replaced the rear coils with 3/4 ton units and those ugly overload units became superfluous!

pretty sure it was in 67 also, and I've seen quite a few with them.

Interesting - I went to a boneyard out in CA while I was there for work and saw a '67 small window without the shoulder mounts. Maybe only the big window cabs have them?

If I read the question right,yes the belts were an option.I've had quite a few myself.I just saw a '68 Longhorn 50th anniversary with them last month.I can't say for sure about '67s.They did have the earlier type belts.I'll have to look for the mounts when I see '67s now.

I knew the 1/2 leaf overload springs for coil rears was pretty common.I never knew they were considered ugly,though

.I guess I don't lay under trucks enough.But,I never thought any were all that pretty under there.I'm do find the HO52 rear kind of attractive,all smooth round
