Re: Pics of a 47-54 crew cab???

That looks like one of those cabs that the RR used to use for servicing track. It could go forwards or reverse and had wheels that rode on the tracks. You changed directions and just changed sides in the cab.

Re: Pics of a 47-54 crew cab???

In case I screw it up from before. I made a mistake by mentioning an item I had for sale. My mistake. Sorry, live and learn. Thanks for the info on the black 4x4 50 model crew cab. It gives my an idea how to go about such a project.

Re: Pics of a 47-54 crew cab???

They did actually make a 3door 3800 but there were only 1500 made. I still kick my self for it but I let one go I almost bought it for cheep too. There is little to no documentation on them because they were special order yo can find pics here and there of them but it is extremely rare.

Re: Pics of a 47-54 crew cab???

there's an art car down here that is 2 Chrysler caravans cut off behind the drivers door and welded together back to back...it takes two drivers, because it steers from both ends. its funny to watch it go down the road during the parade
