Boy that stinks. Good thing you caught it! That's why I don't like using plastic line on oil pressure gauges. You never know if it has rubbed or chaffed on something and when it will blow open on you.

I agree. It was a copper line and Iam not impressed with it. The ferrel as not crushed during installation and everything took a bath. All fixed now. I hope that is the end of the drama. Hoping to take it north to Owls Head Maine memmorial weekend. The transportation museum is celebrating Chevy's that weekend and it would be nice to have it with me. It is a 4 hour ride and I havent driven it that far yet. Would be a perfect drive to break in that motor. Need to get a front end alignment and swap out the seats with a bench seat.
