Re: Father / Daughter ’70 Short Bed Resto…
Do you have issues with your clear lifting/adhesion if you are letting your base coat harden before applying? Just curious as I never wait long in between.

So once completely assembled, I will be hitting the surfaces with a 1200, shoot one last base coat to ensure an even layout and then final clear. Thanks for the question.

Re: Father / Daughter ’70 Short Bed Resto…
So i decided to now fab my sub enclosure behind the seat where the tank was...being that I don't have my helper any more to assist in putting the bench in, can anyone out there by chance know and share the measurements from the rear cab wall to the back of the seat adjusted mid way? Thanks in advance.

Re: Father / Daughter ’70 Short Bed Resto…
Here we are the day before Thanksgiving 2019!
HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO EVERYONE OUT THERE!!!! Well I’m still tinkering with my project...my biggest problem is that I can’t leave well enough alone. So now I’m tearing up the engine compartment again to dress it up with chrome. I’m also going to try a serpentine belt conversion. I’ll let you all know ho that goes. Yes I have taken her out for a Maiden voyage, but that’s not the full scoop. Posting some pictures on where I’m at. Posted via Mobile Device Last edited by ezrider01; 11-27-2019 at 06:15 PM. Re: Father / Daughter ’69 Short Bed Resto…
Got the fans put in now. Looks great finished. Fired her up and off to start swapping the steering column now!!!! Yup, putting the chrome column from CPP in...I’ll post pics in a bit on that.
For now here is the top view with the fans in a bit:

Re: Father / Daughter ’70 Short Bed Resto…
Man, I have to say that an LS engine and that aftermarket air sure remove clutter from an engine bay!
