Cant wait to see them! Adam sounded like a nice guy when I had him on the phone, he was more than willing to answer all my questions. Nice to get someone on the phone who knows what they are selling you.

Post lots of pics when you get them!

What have you heard? and who's leakin the info. Yeah thats my next project. I will send you a pm when I start on it. She will be in the alternative tinkering page someday. I was going to do a build on the hamb but I think my untraditional ways and blasphemous love for oversized wheels and fuel injection would get me shunned over there.

Re: 18" and 20" steel wheels?

I talked to Adam over Facebook, and discussed wheel options. They get their tires through Diamondback tires, who from what Adam told me will take just about any modern tire, smooth the sidewall, and vulcanize a whitewall onto it. So you get the looks and modern tires. Also, they can make the wheels in lots of different offsets. We discussed a 20x14, which he thought was possible. So follow me here... 20x8.5s up front and 20x14 in the rear, with a deep offset for that big lip look. Powder coated black, with spider caps for the centers of the wheels. And run some 45 series tires on it with a decent whitewall. On a flat silver truck with a metal flake roof, bagged of course. Thats whats been running through my head ever since I saw those wheels, Im just too broke to execute unless he wants to just give them to me for free lol.

Re: 18" and 20" steel wheels?

Those of you who have orders placed, how did you get your order in? I have 2 67 C10's and 1 77 C10 under construction and wanted to order a set (or 3) but the number on their site (810-333-6100) just rings with no answer and there isn't a place to order on there site, unless I'm missing something. I've searched for a Facebook page but no luck.

Re: 18" and 20" steel wheels?

I just can't get over the weight of these. They would have to make the truck feel sluggish. For perspective I just went out in the garage to weigh this 20x12 and it came in at 26.7lbs. (without luke skywalker )

I'm going to be pushing 625 rwhp so I'm not concerned with weight on a suburban. It's not going to be a drag car.

My 2 cents: I think the dog dish looks lost on the massiveness of those big-ass wheels... But then again, may be just me...

Re: 18" and 20" steel wheels?

Ive been lookin for these 22x9 steelies for a while with no luck there gm wheels used to transport escalades to the dealer but the dealer says there is a $1500 core on them, these mobsteel wheels look better and are a way better price as long as they come out with a 22" wheel Name: Untitled.jpg

I'm thinking this is a better option for big "steelie looking" wheels.

Personally I dont much care for the look of the solid smooth STEEL wheel. Never did like the moonies look either. But to each their own.

Re: 18" and 20" steel wheels?

I've seen 20" gm delivery wheels that had to sent back to gm after the dealer installed the chrome wheels but they looked more like the dodge wheels than the 22" posted

I saw them on instagram there on a c10 that this shop built but they never got back to me on where to get them so I did some research and called a few dealers. The parts departments didn't know about them but the custom area where they switch out the wheels new what I was talkin about he's the one who told me that they are interim wheels and once they swap them out they have to ship them back. I read on another forum that retail is like $1995.00 or something crazy like that I'll see if I can find that website

I bet someone from the arlington area can get some details on them. I used to know a couple of people that worked at that plant, but that was many moons ago....
