Yes they come with new screws. They are made in Taiwan GM licensed, fit just fine but do require a little fitting as any new trim would. Shipping was $20 which seems cheap considering the man sized box they came in!

Re: Project "Yetti" 87 GMC short bed

Here is a preview, borrowed from Ridetech's website (NOT MY TRUCK!) but it's cousin. I think the rally wheel / white letter tire look could be long term! I love the simplicity.

Love it! Simple but sweet! I like the white letters on rallies. Probably my favorite combo.

For the love of Pete, take a sick day from work or something. Get that truck lowered. You're killing us here.

Re: Project "Yetti" 87 GMC short bed

I once dated a woman that acted like Leevon. Cleavage all the way to tomorrow and back. Always hinting as to the promised land. But, I always went home frustrated. Same deal here. The promise of lowering. A glimpse of a similar lowered truck. Yet, the readers continue to be frustrated.

I think I'll come back here every day and nag him till we finally get to see the truck dropped down (as the Gods of Belltech and DJM intended).

I will start a fund if it will prevent this travesty. If you guys are intent on going with the stockish look at least run a set of the factory alloy wheels.

Wrong year wheel, but they look like these.

Re: Project "Yetti" 87 GMC short bed

Since Kevin brought the woman analogy into this, I'll keep it going. Rally wheels are like a woman who looks great without makeup, the kind that every guy would want but isn't on magazine covers. She will still look great 20 years from now. Billet wheels are like the hottie, fun but expensive, high maintenance and won't look the same in 20 years!

I'm on board with the rallies and white lettering. Custom width and back spacing on stock rallies! The smoothies on my '69 and the rallies on my '79. Lovin the build.
