Re: 1967 swb frame off build
Little more info on my build. I finally started my truck for the first time last week. That felt good! I also had my late model bench seat reupholstered. I'm hoping to have this build wrapped up by early May. I think I did pretty good on time. I started my build December of 2014 so that's only a year and a half. Here's some pics of my seat.

Re: 1967 swb frame off build
I really really like this truck... the seat looks really nice.
What did you decide on the wheel color? I think the black with that blue paint job will be the bees knees.

Thanks guys. I'm hoping to fire this thing up in a week or two. It's gonna be loud because I have no exhaust on it yet lol

Re: 1967 swb frame off build
Yes keeping the steel wheels. I actually have a set of custom made 10" wide steel wheels that will be on the back. I'll get another pick soon as I pull it off the jack stands.

Re: 1967 swb frame off build
Here's the wheels I'll be using for the back. Gonna send them to get powder coated. You guys think I should leave the wheels black or paint them white?

Re: 1967 swb frame off build
looks awesome! are you keeping the white grille trim and front bumper? if so i'd say go white wheels it would tie it together nicely. if you're going with chrome and caps i think the black looks better. are you putting the side trim back on? that would make me lean towards black wheels too. i think either way though you can't go wrong, the truck looks great.

Re: 1967 swb frame off build
If the bumpers are gonna be white then white wheels would look good... You have white grill already so cant imagine the bumper being different.
I think black is too, well....black. On the other hand the body color to me would be a good choice.

Re: 1967 swb frame off build
I'm not sure if I'm keeping the grill and headlight bezels white. I might have them done in chrome. The bumpers will be chrome.
