Re: Newbie with a 65 Chevy

Drooled over that one but finances wouldn't allow, not to mention my wife would've been kicking me outside with the dog...

Thought I'd help you out and re-post this for ya...

Re: Newbie with a 65 Chevy

Thanks. I sent that one from the phone and I guess I had it turned when I posted it. I still have not figured out how to edit pic after I post. I am hoping the cab looks as good when I start removing it.

Good for you! That looks like a whole lot less work than either of the other choices.

Re: Newbie with a 65 Chevy

Removed rocker on passenger side. PO had put small patches in the floor corners to coverup a little rust. Decided to replace floor, inner and outer rockers. I had them already.

Re: Newbie with a 65 Chevy

Welded up floor pan today after mocking up rocker and door to make sure it was all lined up. Everything fit very well.

Re: Newbie with a 65 Chevy

Looking good! I have the same EFI tank coming in next week. Glad to see it mounts nicely. Any issues with it, or the biggest thing to do is remove/relocate that thin crossmember?
